The Lewiston Winter Farmer’s Market will be open on Sundays from December 9th thru February 24th from 10a-noon at the YWCA on 130 East Avenue in Lewiston.  There will be locally grown & produced goods on hand.  For more information, call 513-3848.

The Community Little Theatre presents the comedy classic “Lend Me A Tenor” on Friday & Saturday, January 11th & 12th at 7:30p, Sunday, January 13th at 2p, Thursday thru Saturday, January 17th-19th at 7:30p & Sunday, January 20th at 2:30p.  The performance will be held at the Great Falls Performing Art Center on 30 Academy Street in Auburn.  Tickets are $18 and can be purchased by calling 783-0958.

L/A Metro Chamber of Commerce presents their Annual Dinner & Awards Night on Thursday, January 24th from 5-9p at the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center, 490 Pleasant Street in Lewiston.  Tickets are $50.  For tickets & more information, call 783-2249.

There will be a Bean Supper on Saturday, January 26th from 4:30-6p at the Sixth Street Congregational Church on 109 Sixth Street in Auburn.  2 kinds of beans, chop-suey, hotdogs, coleslaw, desserts & more are on the menu.  Costs: $6 for adults, $3 for kids & free to kids 4 & under.

A Baked Bean Supper will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 5p at the First Congregational Church on Rte 115 in Gray.  Cost: $8 for adults & $4 for children.

A Bean Supper will be held Saturday, January 26th at 5p at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Avenue in Auburn.  There will be baked beans, casseroles, hotdogs, coleslaw, pies & more.  Costs: $8 for adults, $4 for kids & free to kids 4 and under.

A Bean Supper will be held Saturday, January 26th from 5-6p at the Lisbon United Methodist Church on 14 School St. in Lisbon Falls. There will be homemade baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, ham, hot dogs, pies and more! Costs: $8 for adults, $3 for children and free for children 5 and under.

Lisbon Winter Fest 2019 will be held Saturday, January 26th from 10a-2p at Beaver Park, 37 Cotton Road in Lisbon.  There will be free food, a wood carving display, antique snowmobiles, an ice carving demonstration, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice skating & more.  It’s free to the public.  For more information, call 353-2289.

A Craft & Vendor Fair, to benefit The Kaydenz Kitchen Food Pantry, will be held on Saturday, January 26th from 9a-2p at Mixers Nightclub & Lounge, 16 Sabattus Road in Sabattus.  There will be a 50/50 drawing.  For more information, call 330-5330.

The Public Theatre, 31 Maple Street in Lewiston presents the play, “Human Error” on Saturday, January 26th & Sunday, January 27th & Thursday thru Sunday, January 31st-February 3rd at 7:30p, 2p on Sundays.  Tickets are $20.  For tickets and more information, call 782-3200.

Comedian Bob Marley will be performing at the Orion Theatre, 50 Republic Avenue in Topshams to benefit Mt Ararat High School’s Project Grad on Sunday, January 27th at 6pm.  Admission is $25.

There will be a film screening of the comedy “Super Lola” on Monday, January 28th at 6:30p at the Franco Center, 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston.  It’s free to the public.

“Knitting Knights” will be held every other Wednesday from 5-6:30p in the Jeanne Couture Room at the Lewiston Public Library on 200 Lisbon Street.  All ages and skill levels are welcome, and no registration is required.  Library staff will be available to teach new knitters.  Bottled water and hot tea will be provided, and some supplies are available for beginners.  For more information, call 513-3135.

The Thread Theater at the Franco Center, 46 Cedar St. in Lewiston is holding performances every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.  Admission is $5 per person.  For more information, call 783-1585 Monday thru Friday from Noon - 4 pm.

Seniors Plus in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association have monthly support group meetings, designed to provide emotional, educational, and social support for people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease or another form of dementia.  They will be held at Seniors Plus on 8 Falcon Road in Lewiston.  There’s no fee but pre-registration is required.  For more information about dates and time or to register, call 1-800-427-1241, ext 3728.
