A Bean Supper will be held Saturday, November 25th from 5-6p at the Lisbon United Methodist Church on 14 School St. in Lisbon Falls. There will be homemade baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, ham, hot dogs, pies and more. Costs $8 for adults, $3 for children and free for children 5 and under.

The Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston welcomes back Krista Johnson and Louis Philippe, as Reindeer Productions presents “Among My Souvenirs”, a musical tribute to Connie Francis.  It’s happening Sunday, November 26th at 2p, doors and bar open at 1p.  Reserved seating is $18, free to students.  For reservations and more information, call 783-1585 Monday-Friday from noon-4p.

The 7th Annual Holiday Craft Fair will be held Saturday, December 2nd at 9a at the Durham Community School on 650 Hallowell Road.

Gendron Franco Center’s 8-part French film series continues with a showing of the comedy film, Sous le Figuier.  The showing will take place on Monday, December 18th at 6:30p in Heritage Hall, 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston.  Doors and bar open at 6p.  Admission is free.  For more information, call 783-1585 from noon-4p.

Seniors Plus in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association have monthly support group meetings, designed to provide emotional, educational, and social support for people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease or another form of dementia.  They will be held at Seniors Plus on 8 Falcon Road in Lewiston.  There’s no fee but pre-registration is required.  For more information about dates and time or to register, call 1-800-427-1241, ext 3728.

Blood Drives

  • The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on Thursday, November 30th from 11a-4p at Flagship Cinemas, 730 Center Street in Auburn.

  • The 2nd Annual Lifeflight-Lewiston Blood Drive will be held Friday, December 15th from 11a-5p at Central Maine Medical Center on 300 Main Street in Lewiston.
