Midcoast Symphony Orchestra presents “Celebration Pops” on Saturday, March 17th at 7p at the Franco Center, 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston.  They’ll perform music by John Williams, Aaron Copland, Henry Mancini & George Gershwin.  Admission is $20 for adults & free for students.  For more information, call 846-5378.

The movie, Paul à Québec, will be shown on Monday, March 19th at 6:30p at L/A’s Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston.  The 2015 drama is about “Paul” and his wife, Lucie, who live in Montreal, and are looking to buy a house where they can raise their daughter properly.  It’s free to the public.

The Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Services will host a free, trauma-sensitive Yoga Support Group for female-identifying survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse, or sexual harassment beginning in April.  If interested, register by March 19th.  Call Kaycee or Julia at 784-5272.

The Youth Orchestra of Lewiston-Auburn will present its Spring Concert on Saturday, March 24th at 2p at Free Grace Presbyterian Church, 160 Canal Street in Lewiston.  They will perform John Williams’ music from the Harry Potter films and more.  The concert is free to the public. 

“Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” will be held Saturday, March 24th from 8-10a at the Lisbon United Methodist Church on 14 School Street in Lisbon Falls.  Local children and families are invited to this free pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny.  For more information, call 353-4982.

A Bean Supper will be held Saturday, March 24th from 5-6p at the Lisbon United Methodist Church on 14 School St. in Lisbon Falls. There will be homemade baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, ham, hot dogs, pies and more. Costs $8 for adults, $3 for children and free for children 5 and under.

On Wednesday, March 28th beginning at 2:30p, The Franco American Collection at USM’s L/A College on 51 Westminster Street in Lewiston will host a public forum Titled “The Unique Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul” with Journalist, Julie-Ann Baumer, it’s followed by a Cabaret Style Sing-Along with Les Troubadours.  The event will be held in room 170 at the college.

“Knitting Knights” will be held every other Wednesday from 5-6:30p beginning February 21st in the Jeanne Couture Room at the Lewiston Public Library on 200 Lisbon Street.  All ages and skill levels are welcome, and no registration is required.  Library staff will be available to teach new knitters.  Bottled water and hot tea will be provided, and some supplies are available for beginners.  For more information, call 513-3135.

The Thread Theater at the Franco Center, 46 Cedar St. in Lewiston is holding performances every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.  Admission is $5 per person.  For more information, call 783-1585 Monday thru Friday from Noon - 4 pm.

Seniors Plus in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association have monthly support group meetings, designed to provide emotional, educational, and social support for people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease or another form of dementia.  They will be held at Seniors Plus on 8 Falcon Road in Lewiston.  There’s no fee but pre-registration is required.  For more information about dates and time or to register, call 1-800-427-1241, ext 3728.
