Museum L-A’s Fashion Show is going on Friday, September 20th from 7-9p at the museum, 35 Canal Street in Lewiston.  Advance tickets are $35, $40 at the door.

Woodlands Memory Care, 45 Mollison Way in Lewiston is holding a Cruise-In Fundraiser on Saturday, September 21st from noon-2p.  There will be vintage cars, food Festivities, prizes and more.  For more information, call Andrea at 440-6040.

A Bean Supper will be held Saturday, September 28th from 5-6p at the Lisbon United Methodist Church on 14 School St. in Lisbon Falls. There will be homemade baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, ham, hot dogs, pies and more. Cost: $8 for adults, $3 for children and free for children 5 and under.

“Knitting Knights” will be held every other Wednesday from 5-6:30p in the Jeanne Couture Room at the Lewiston Public Library on 200 Lisbon Street.  All ages and skill levels are welcome, and no registration is required.  Library staff will be available to teach new knitters.  Bottled water and hot tea will be provided, and some supplies are available for beginners. Seniors Plus in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association have monthly support group meetings, designed to provide emotional, educational, and social support for people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease or another form of dementia.  They will be held at Seniors Plus on 8 Falcon Road in Lewiston.  There’s no fee but pre-registration is required.  For more information about dates and time or to register, call 1-800-427-1241, ext 3728.
